Noise. Noise. NOISE....my sister's not a fan.
Dee: Ummm, yeah, so my neighbors down the street must be on crack because they are still shooting off fireworks right now....seriously, let it go already....

Dee: I don't know what the heck they've got, besides on my nerves. It's loud & annoying and they need to find a new hobby b4 I find the number for the local PD...ugh.
Me: Awww, poor thing.
Dee: Don't get me wrong, I love the 4th of July. But you won't see me counting down to midnight to say Happy New Year on January 5th....just not gonna happen. Not to mention, they started celebrating long before the 4th. Perhaps they should find a better investment like stocks and bonds, IRA, 401K or something....sheesh : )

Every Year
I’ve got the delightful task of staying over at my mom’s, watching my dog as she paces inside the house, waiting for her neighbors to either run out of fireworks or get ticketed by a cop.
My dog Cocoa has gotten me to let her out into the backyard about 15 times in the last hour, trying to relieve herself, but the noise and lights have literally scared her shitless. Awesome.
